Review: Objects of Affection (Gold+Beige) collection

Saturday, January 17, 2015

I'm a really big fan of MAC shimmer pigments. My all time favorite one was Gold Mode, but unfortunately it's been discontinued. Gold mode gave me such a beautiful glow that complimented my skin tone. Anyways, when I saw the Objects of Affection collection, I was immediately drawn to the golds and I am absolutely in love with every color in the Gold+Beige collection. Here are the pigments it comes with (in order):

  • LITHE
  • ENGLISH TILT
  • PRETTY IT UP
  • GOLD
  • DEEP BROWN

I know this is going to be one of my favorite collections of the year. I usually use them dry, but today I discovered how much more amazing they are when used wet. Check out my photo below showing each color (in order) swatch dry+wet. I even included a photo of them with and without flash. English Gilt is my favorite for my everyday look. It adds just the right amount of glow to my skin making my face appear healthy and pretty! It's so hard to say which of these would be my absolute favorite because  I love them all 100%. I'm a glitter and shimmer girl so this collection is right up my alley, but Deep Brown is a matt pigment perfect for a smokey brown eye. It is worth every penny of my $36. :)

Stay tuned for future posts with my favorite looks I use with these pigments! Let me know if this is also one of your favorites!

Until next time,
Good vibes, drink your coffee…or wine,
and be beautiful!
